Field Knit Club with Laurie ✨
A Guided Knit-Along Inspired by Scandinavian Design
Join us for a beautiful and inspiring knitting experience centered around the elegant Field Sweater or Field Cardigan by Camilla Vad.
Choose the project that speaks to you, a timeless sweater or an elegant cardigan, both featuring Camilla Vad's signature grain-inspired yoke that creates beautiful texture and subtle movement throughout the garment.
Together, with Laurie, you'll work through your chosen design step by step while learning garment construction, yoke shaping, pattern reading, fit considerations, and finishing techniques in a warm, supportive, and community-focused atmosphere.
The Field Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round, creating a beautifully finished garment that's perfect for every season.
The Field Cardigan is worked flat from the top down and seamlessly, offering the same stunning grain-patterned yoke in a versatile cardigan you'll reach for again and again.
Both designs are knit in DK-weight yarn, creating a lightweight fabric with beautiful stitch definition and a timeless look.
This club is about more than simply knitting the same project together.
It's about creativity, shared learning, encouragement, and enjoying the process side by side in a welcoming and cozy community space.

👥 Format
A guided, two-session in-person knit-along designed to help you confidently begin your Field Sweater or Field Cardigan.
Throughout the club, we'll guide you through yarn selection, gauge, yoke construction, fit considerations, reading the pattern, and the techniques needed for a successful project while knitting together in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.
This club is designed to teach you the construction, answer questions along the way, and help you confidently begin your garment during class. Between sessions, you'll continue knitting at home at your own pace while applying everything you've learned.
Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge, guidance, and confidence to continue your project independently while still feeling supported throughout the knitting journey.
Once everyone has completed their projects, we'll gather again for a special Field Show-Off Meet-Up, where we can admire each other's finished garments, celebrate everyone's creativity, and enjoy the joy of making together. ✨
