Cautiva is a beautiful celebration of local wool, traditional craftsmanship, and the people who keep these traditions alive.

Inspired by the legend of “La Cautiva,” this yarn tells a story of rediscovery and renewal. For many years, wool and its traditional crafts were pushed aside and at risk of disappearing. With the support of the WoolDreamers community, these fibers, skills, and stories are being brought back to life.

Cautiva is made with the same wool and the same heart as Mota, presented in a lighter and more versatile format. Its sport weight opens up even more possibilities for creating beautiful garments and accessories while preserving the authentic character of wool sourced from local flocks in Spain.

The wool comes from AGRATA (Asociación de la Raza Talaverana) in Spain, an association made up of 25 local families dedicated to preserving and supporting the Talaverana sheep breed and its wool.
