Session Details

👥 Format:
A relaxed, small-group workshop where Kristen will guide you step by step through creating the Classic Granny Square. With plenty of individual support, you'll enjoy an inspiring morning of creativity and community.

🧶 Skill Level:
Advanced Beginner

This is not a beginner crochet class. Participants should already be comfortable with:

• Slip Knot
• Chain Stitch
• Double Crochet

Taught by Kristen, whose warm and encouraging teaching style makes learning new techniques enjoyable, approachable, and inspiring.

📅 Schedule

Session: Saturday, August 15 • 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Focus:
Learning the construction of the Classic Granny Square while improving stitch consistency, clean corners, and finishing techniques.

Materials Needed (not included)

Yarn:
– Worsted weight yarn in one or two solid colors (your choice)

If making a two-color Granny Square, please bring two coordinating colors.

We recommend smooth, light to medium-colored yarn. Please avoid dark or variegated yarns, as they make learning more difficult.

You are welcome to use yarn from your own stash. We always greatly appreciate when you choose to support the shop by purchasing your project yarn from us - as a little thank you, you will receive 10% off your selected yarn for the class. 🤍

Hook:
– 5.0 mm (US H) crochet hook (or the hook recommended for your yarn)

Also bring:

• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Two locking stitch markers

Choosing lighter, solid-colored yarn will help you clearly see your stitches and make learning even easier.
