Rasta by Malabrigo is an exceptionally thick and cozy 100% Merino wool yarn. The name means “dreadlock” in Spanish, referring to its chunky, cord-like appearance. Its lightly felted single-ply construction creates an incredibly soft and squishy yarn that allows you to knit warm accessories in just a few hours.

Made from premium Uruguayan Merino wool, Rasta comes in beautiful semi-solid colors as well as unique watercolor-inspired multicolored shades. It is the perfect choice when you want maximum warmth with minimum knitting time.

Care Instructions

• Hand wash in cold water with a mild wool detergent

• Soak for at least 20 minutes

• Gently press out excess water and dry flat

• Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as the yarn may felt

• Swatch and block before starting your project, as the finished garment may grow

Please note: Rasta is hand-dyed, so colors may vary between dye lots and individual skeins. For a more even color distribution, we recommend alternating between two skeins while knitting.
